Dr. Alla V. Kourova is a Professor of Russian and TESOL at the University of Central Florida and a recognized leader in language pedagogy and cross-cultural education. She is the author of more than 50 scholarly publications and the recipient of over 15 national, state, and UCF teaching and research awards, as well as more than 12 national grants in the past 15 years. With over three decades of international teaching experience across secondary, university, and professional training contexts, Dr. Kourova brings a deeply informed, multifaceted perspective on language education. A Fulbright Research Scholar at the University of Montana, she is known for advancing innovative, research-based methodologies and for fostering meaningful cross-cultural dialogue through her teaching, scholarship, and program development.
